They Are Not Going to Wake Up is an empowering guide and a plea. Rather than offering answers, it raises questions we tend to avoid: about the future of human society, the effects of technological transformation, the erosion of personal liberties, and the reality of living within an increasingly controlled environment. It examines the transformation of the relationship between individual and society under terrifyingly growing systemic pressure.
Can the trajectory of human society still be changed?
What if our need to belong defines the limits of our freedom?
Is individual liberation possible while others remain unfree?
You know they will not wake up, yet you still make the call.
In turbulent times of uncertainty, filled with sadness, anger, and a sense of loss, I saw how strong the waves can get. I felt the need to reach out to others who feel the currents, I know that eventually everybody does. This film is that call. It is a reminder to resist, to hold on to something, to find your own branch, and not be swept away into darker places. You’re the one who makes the call.
